The thing about marriage is that the celebration does not end after the wedding. A vow renewal can be just as exciting and emotional.

Liz & Blue have been married for four years. They love comic books, going on adventures, and most of all, each other. They will vow their love to each other again on Sept. 23 during The NotWedding at the beautiful Green Building in Brooklyn, NY.

We were so excited to work with Liz from Octavia Brown and Cassidy Parker Smith along with Leah of Color Pop Events on this styled shoot. NYC was the perfect backdrop for these two romantics. And, how completely gorgeous does Liz look in the handmade floral crown by our very own Diane Solaja of Dee Kay Events? We’re swooning!

We are honored to be a part of The NotWedding, a bridal show alternative in the form of a big, fake wedding. “Wedding guests” are engaged couples and friends and family who enjoy an emotional ceremony, a tasty dinner and a dance-party reception while truly experiencing the wedding vendors in action. The event serves as a source of inspiration, a resource in finding trusted wedding vendors and an emotional reminder to plan for what comes after the wedding: a marriage!
