Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too? 🍰 I began my career as a wedding planner to make sure couples have the best day ever. Everyone deserves that no matter how big or small your nuptials. What an honor to be part of a couples love story! But, if I'm being honest, I simply love a good party. 💃 I also love the perks of being a planner. Cake tastings, listening to great bands play at weddings, the gifting... I can go on and on. 8 years later, I’m still so thankful get paid to do what I love. It’s the sweetest! How do you make sure you get to have your cake and eat it too?

Today is my Dad's 80th birthday. 🥳 I am so damn lucky to still have him. We got real sappy together today and my post on Facebook covers that. All I'll say here is that life passes by in a heart beat. Be sure to love on the ones you got. Don't overthink too much. Just do. It's what got my Dad this far. Next time you brainstorm your next business move, your next life moment, and you find yourself stressed out. Just ask yourself one question: Where do you want to be when you are 80? Your answer will probably be more simple than everything that complicates your life now. Keep to that thought. You'll get there. I promise. 💕

I am beyond excited about the new season of @BelowDeckBravo. 😁 It takes place in the motherland: Croatia! 🇭🇷🇭🇷🇭🇷🇭🇷 I always watch intently just in case I see someone I know. My Dad may be from the biggest little coastal village and my Mom from an island, but collectively somehow we know everyone in Croatia. True story. 🤷‍♀️🤌🏻

Let’s play a game… If you could get coffee/tea with one famous person (dead or alive), who would it be? I had to text my husband right now to *remind me* who I would hang out with because it's too late to think. Needless to say, it's a long list and I'm glad he can keep track. 🤣

But, for me, it would be @awkwafina becauseI loved her since #GirlCode and I already feel like I know her. Not in a stalker way, but in a "she's from NY and reminds me of my friends" kinda way." We’d go to @rookcoffee , laugh about @belowdeckbravo drama, I’d ask her questions about random pranks she's pulled on people, we'd bond over being first-generation Americans, and then make fun of our immigrant upbringing. It sounds like the perfect coffee date to me!
