I was watching the Golden Globes last night and basically cried over Jane Fonda's acceptance speech. What a bad ass, incredibly smart woman. Unabashedly raw and outspoken. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It's #WomensHistoryMonth. As a #womanbusinessowner, I am grateful for the ones who burned their bras. For all the women who paved the way before me. I am thankful for the ones who fought for me to have a credit card and a mortgage. I am forever indebted to the ones who fought for my right to choose and my right to vote. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

What does this have to do with wedding planning? Well, everything. If it wasn't for the women before me, I wouldn't be here today standing in all my divine female confidence serving you. I wouldn't be able to stand up to thr naysayers and say that #loveislove. I wouldn't be able to share my heart, my passion, my everything.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

My immigrant mother was never encouraged to be an artist. (She loved to paint.) She dreamed of being a doctor. (She was never pushed to go further in her studies.) Wanna know why? Because she was a girl.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Fun Fact Friday! Wanna know how I learned how to swim? My super #offtheboat Dad plopped me into the #AdriaticSea and my little baby self started to float and kick. Before you all go knocking the parenting skills, relax. It was (kinda?) safe.🤷‍♀️ I've been swimming every since even though I still can't dive. 🤌⚓🌊

Who else is itching to travel further than your front door for grocery drop off? 😂 The second #NewJersey gets to 40 degrees after all this snow, I am eager for what I call "melting time." When Spring teases you in the air and you can see grass again. This is when I CRAVE the smell of the salty ocean air.

Here's to hoping the Spring and Summer bring amazing weddings by the sea for a ton of couples. I can't wait for every single one. 💕⛵💕

Everyone deserves that no matter how big or small your nuptials. What an honor to be part of a couples love story! But, if I'm being honest, I simply love a good party. 💃 I also love the perks of being a planner. Cake tastings, listening to great bands play at weddings, the gifting...
